We're trekking in Sri Lanka because we want to help change peoples' lives for the better, and in the process change our own lives ... and we want to help Oxfam Australia with the fantastic work they do empowering people around the world to lift themselves out of poverty.

Supporting: Trek to Tackle Poverty Sri Lanka

Trek through Sri Lanka's unspoilt heartland on this 12-day journey, tackling poverty with Oxfam.   Spend six days on an immersive trek through the varied and vibrant hills of Sri Lanka. Travelling by foot, you'll experience the lush landscapes of this culturally rich country. Splash through fresh-water streams, wander among peaceful tea plantations and look out in awe as you stand on some of Sri Lanka's most breathtaking peaks.   Oxfam challenge events are more than an adventure; they are a once-in-a-lifetime chance to create change - in the world and in yourself. This is a unique opportunity to see Oxfam's work in the field and meet the people whose lives you've helped change.   You and Oxfam, tackling poverty together.

It's our 20th year together as team twofish, and while it hasn't all been a walk in the park, it hasn't been a steep uphill climb either ... unlike the trek we're embarking on to raise much needed funds to fight poverty in Sri Lanka. We're going to take on the Knuckles Mountain Range in central Sri Lanka and we're gonna trek the heck out of it.

But we need your help!! Our goal is to raise $5000 between us. Sure, that sounds like a lot … but if 100 people donated $50 each we’d be there in a flash! Funds raised will go directly to Oxfam's Sunrise Project, which empowers women to develop sustainable businesses and builds capacity in some of the poorest areas of Sri Lanka.
