To help give back to the community and help build strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in our community. Having been a past straight talk participant and Action Partner for Oxfam I would love to give back to this amazing program that helped to shape the person I am today. Overall I would like to also contribute to tackling poverty in our community.

(It is only possible to commence fundraising for this event, once you have registered to participate.  Please visit https://soulfulconcepts.com/index.php/trek-tackle-poverty-larapinta-landing-page/  to find out more.)       Trek through one of the world's largest outdoor museums in Australia's Red Centre, on this 9-day journey, tackling poverty with Oxfam.   Spend seven days on an immersive trek in the rugged beauty of the West MacDonnell Ranges, trekking sections of the Larapinta Trail, one of the most popular wilderness walks in Australia.  The rugged rocky outcrops form a striking backdrop to scenic paths that cut a swath through scenic gorges and expansive plains.  We have chosen walks along the best sections of the trail.  A highlight is a challenging but rewarding climb up to the top of Rwetyepme (Mount Sonder - 1380m), where we enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, plans, valleys and salt lakes.  Oxfam challenge events are more than an adventure; they are a once-in-a-lifetime chance to create change - in the world and in yourself. You and Oxfam, tackling poverty together.
