I care about the empowerment of women and helping create a fairer, better world. I’ll be walking the iconic Larapinta Trail next year and raising funds for Oxfam Australia’s programs that help to empower indigenous women with the tools and leadership skills they need to shape the decisions that affect their lives and their communities.

Supporting: Trek to Tackle Poverty Larapinta

(It is only possible to commence fundraising for this event, once you have registered to participate.  Please visit  to find out more.)       Trek through one of the world's largest outdoor museums in Australia's Red Centre, on this 9-day journey, tackling poverty with Oxfam.   Spend seven days on an immersive trek in the rugged beauty of the West MacDonnell Ranges, trekking sections of the Larapinta Trail, one of the most popular wilderness walks in Australia.  The rugged rocky outcrops form a striking backdrop to scenic paths that cut a swath through scenic gorges and expansive plains.  We have chosen walks along the best sections of the trail.  A highlight is a challenging but rewarding climb up to the top of Rwetyepme (Mount Sonder - 1380m), where we enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, plans, valleys and salt lakes.  Oxfam challenge events are more than an adventure; they are a once-in-a-lifetime chance to create change - in the world and in yourself. You and Oxfam, tackling poverty together.
